Our university has a long history of providing high-quality education for international students: from the preparatory course to PhD study. VSTU implements programs of the higher education for foreign residents since 1961.

There are students from 68 countries of Asia, Africa, South America, the Near East and CIS states studying at VSTU. The university offers international students not only full-time (intramural) but also extramural forms of study. The institute organizes enrollment, admission and education of foreign citizens arriving at VSTU under contract basis study expense coverage or within a government education branch funded by the budget of the Russian Federation.     

Students of the Institute have always been actively involved in cultural and public life of the university.
