VSTU HOLDS THE TRADITIONAL QUEST GAME «NIGHT AT THE UNIVERSITY»

On September 15, the annual game "Night at the University" was held at the Voronezh State Technical University. Its participants were 200 first-year students from 12 faculties of our university. This orienteering game, created for first-year students, helps to get to know the structure of the university from the inside, talks about extracurricular activities at VSTU and allows the students to get to know each other.

 

Vice-rector for youth policy and educational activities Anton Khodunov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech:

 

- During the game you will visit interesting places of our university. This game will be won by the team that today proves to be the strongest, fastest and smartest. But more importantly, you are joining a large, strong student family of Voronezh State Technical University!

 

Before the start of the game, 13 teams from all faculties of the university received route sheets with a list of 16 stations located in different parts of the university, they had to go through them all. But the task of the participants was not only to go through all the stages, but also to do it the fastest. In addition, at each station, participants performed interesting creative, sports, logical and intellectual tasks and gained important knowledge about each place. So, during the game, the first-year students were able to learn more about the administration, the student trade union committee, the library, the engineering museum, student groups, project activities within the university and other important components of the scientific, educational and extracurricular activities of our university.

At the end of the game, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place - cultural and educational faculty;

2nd place - road transport faculty;

3rd place - Faculty of Engineering Systems and Structures.

Also, according to the results of the event, each of the 13 teams was recognized as the winner in a certain category for showing themselves and an interesting approach to completing tasks.

All teams received interesting prizes and certificates from Alena Semko, head of the Student Club department of VSTU. She thanked the students for their participation, wished them further success and undying activity
