Acting Rector of VSTU Dmitry Proskurin meets with youth activists of the university

On December 9, Dmitry Proskurin, Acting Rector of Voronezh State Technical University held a meeting with youth activists of the university. The event was also participated by Anton Khodunov, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs. The meeting was organized in a mixed mode: students had a chance to ask the Acting Rector a question in person during the meeting or via video conference. Also present were representatives of volunteer organizations and students’ union, sportsmen, young scientists, trade union and cultural event leaders.

The Acting Rector told about development plans of the university for the next few years as well as strategic projects of VSTU and opportunities they can bring. He emphasized that Voronezh State Technical University is going to make efficient changes in the infrastructure of the university and strengthen its material and technical basis.

During the meeting students shared their problems with university administration. Questions addressed to the Acting Rector referred to almost all spheres of student life: organization of educational and scientific activity, participation in competitions, living conditions in dormitories, internships, redecoration of campus and canteens. Dmitry Proskurin noted that in order to resolve discussed issues promptly responsible vice rectors and deans of faculties will be informed immediately. At the end of the meeting students thanked the Acting Rector for the constructive dialogue. In turn, the Acting Rector stressed the importance of an open dialogue between the student community and administration of the university.
