RECTOR DMITRY PROSKURIN MEETS WITH FOREIGN STUDENTS OF VSTU

 

On October 18, Rector of Voronezh State Technical University Dmitry Proskurin held a meeting with foreign students of VSTU. Also, the participants in the conversation, which took place in the format of a dialogue on an equal footing, were the Director of the Institute of International Education Valeria Budko, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Educational Activities Anton Khodunov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexander Kolosov.

 

It is very important for us that the number of foreign students at our university increases, the geography of countries represented at our university expands, - said Dmitry Proskurin. – To date, 1206 people from different nations are studying with us. We are interested in your countries and others being represented at our university, and we will give you a profession that will be in demand.

 

During the meeting, such topical issues as the organization of educational activities, the development of the creative potential of students, and internships were discussed. The Rector of VSTU also asked the students how they spend their leisure time and what plans they have for the future after graduation. Dmitry Konstantinovich noted that it is important for the university management to receive feedback in order to timely resolve emerging issues.

 

At the end of the meeting, Anton Khodunov announced the upcoming elections to the international council of VSTU students.
