Faculty of Power and Control Systems

The faculty represents a powerful cluster of professional education in the field of power and control systems that includes power and electrical engineering, heat power engineering and heating engineering, management in technical systems.    

There are 19 Doctors of Sciences and 76 Candidate of Sciences at the faculty these days. Leading practitioners and heads of enterprises are involved in educational process and share their experience with students. The educational program of the faculty is based on close contacts with industrial enterprises, which enable students to take part in real projects and developments during their studies. Such strategy helps students to become professionals and find a job in their respective fields. Graduates of the faculty are highly sought by such enterprises as “Voronezhenergo”, OAO “Intellectual automatic systems”, ОАО "Voronezhselmash", ООО “Siemens transformers” and their recruitment rate is approaching 100%.    

Along with leading and dynamically developing enterprises Voronezh State Technical University, represented by the Faculty of power and control systems was included in newly created industrial cluster in 2010.

Members of the faculty conduct research and developments under “Hardware and software power sector and systems” scientific field. Among graduates of the faculty are prominent scientist, engineering and managerial personnel of industrial enterprises, heads of government agencies. Students and staff members of the faculty are prize winners of numerous innovation projects competitions.
