Faculty of Construction
One of the oldest and well-respected faculties of the university, which maintains its leading positions in training of engineers for construction industry. Under the educational process the staff of the faculty apply such innovative approaches as computer-aided design systems, electronic catalogues, software systems for preparation of design and estimate documentation and electronic library systems. At the end of each academic year students have the opportunity to update their skills during various internships. The faculty provides all the necessary conditions for sports activities and amateur performances.
High qualification of teaching staff of the Faculty of Construction is promoted not only by skills capacity of the lectures but also by the close connection between learning and research activities. In accordance with the reforms of higher education aimed at improving the structure and increasing the effectiveness of higher education, faculty members are actively exploring Russian and foreign educational programs, adopting modern experience, participating in international educational projects and competitions.
The faculty of Construction liaise closely with the largest enterprises in the construction industry. Thanks to this, students have the opportunity to complete practical training at such enterprises as: Voronezhgrazhdanpromstroy LLC; LLC Spetsstroy; LLC Voronezhagropromstroykomplekt; JSC "DSK"; Russian Railways and other enterprises.
