Rodionov Oleg Valerievich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher School of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of System Analysis and Management in Medical Systems of the Voronezh State Technical University, was born on 20.12.1963 in the city of Voronezh. In 1986 he graduated from the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Design and Production of Radio Equipment.
Worked as an engineer of the production association "Polis" (1986-1990), an electronics engineer, deputy chief and head of maintenance and computer facilities at the Voronezh Regional Clinical Diagnostic Center (1990-1996). Since 1996 he worked as an assistant professor, professor of the department of system analysis and management in medical systems of the VSTU. Since 2001 - Head of the Department of SAUMS VSTU. He is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He was awarded with the breastplate "Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation". Specialist in the field of modeling and management in medical systems. Under his leadership, defended 3 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations. The author of more than 400 publications, including "Management in Biological and Medical Systems", "Medical Informatics", etc.
