Doctor of philology, full professor, honorary worker of higher professional education of Russian Federation.
She graduated from the Faculty of  Romance and German Philology of Voronezh State University. From 1976 to 1979 she studied at the graduate school at the department of general linguistics and stylistics of the philological faculty of the Voronezh State University.
In 1979 she defended her thesis on «The experience of a functional expressive stylistic typology of Russian language phraseological units (in comparison with German)» on specialty 10.02.01 Russian language. The decision of the Council of the Voronezh State University on October 2, 1979 awarded the degree of PhD in Philology.
The doctoral thesis was defended on the topic «Phraseologization as a cognitive process» on specialty 10.02.19 Language Theory. The decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation on January 28, 2005 awarded the degree of Doctor of Philology.
Decision of the State Committee of the USSR on public education of May 31, 1990 awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
She is a member of the Voronezh Theoretical and Linguistic Scientific School.
