The magazine has been published since 2013.

The magazine is registered by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications (registration certificate PI No. FS 77 – 81152 dated 05/25/21)

Metadata of published materials is posted on the website of the Scientific Electronic Library (eLIBRARY.ru) and included in the national information and analytical system RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index).

The magazine is published four times a year (March, June, October, December).

Articles are accepted for publication in the following specialties: 5.6.1 – Domestic history (historical sciences), 5.6.2 – General history (historical sciences), 5.7.7 – Social and political philosophy (philosophical sciences), 5.4.4 – Social structure, social institutions and processes (sociological sciences), 5.5.2 – Political institutions, processes, technologies (political sciences), 5.5.4. - International relations, global and regional studies (political sciences).

The journal "Problems of Social and Humanitarian Sciences" publishes the results of scientific research by scientists, doctoral students, graduate students and applicants on problems of history, philosophy, sociology, and political science.

Articles that have not previously been published anywhere and have not been submitted for publication in other publications are accepted for publication.

All materials are published in the journal “Problems of Social Sciences and Humanities” free of charge.
