The V International Youth Forum “Eurasia Global” was held from 2 to 8 September in Orenburg. This year, the Forum was held under the auspices of UNESCO both offline and online. The event brought together more than 500 leaders of youth organizations from 50 countries and 80 regions of Russia.
Participants of the Forum had a chance to visit not only educational workshops and trainings but also became speakers as part of 2.0 Program format. The Forum was held in two languages: English and Russian. For the convenience of participants, translation services were organized.
“At first I wasn’t feeling comfortable while talking with foreigners in English, but I didn’t want to lose new opportunities because of the language barrier, and I took a chance. Now I have friends from Morocco and Syria,” – said a student from the Faculty of Economics, Management and Information Technology, Anastasia Ushakova”.
Public protection of projects in the framework of the Grant competition of youth initiatives of Rosmolodezh was held for Russian participants at the Forum. For foreign participants, the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund organized a Grant competition for youth projects. In total, 13 million rubbles were provided to finance the most promising projects.
In its five years of existence, Eurasia Global became very popular among youth. Each time, coordinators of the event organize a varied program including meetings with representatives of government authorities, business community, scientists and cultural workers.
