From 24 to 27 March, 2020, the XXIII Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes" took place. The exhibition part of the Salon was held in a remote format. The event gathered 314 participants from 24 countries and 35 regions of the Russian Federation who presented 600 projects. It is worth noting that the main purpose of the Salon “Archimedes” is to boost inventive, patent-licensing and innovation activities, and to develop the market for intellectual property results.
The expert commission and the international jury committee of the Salon “Archimedes” appreciated the projects of the participants.As a result of the event, the Voronezh State Technical University was awarded a Diploma of respect and gratitude for its active participation in the organization and holding of the Salon, and the inventions of the VSTU scientists were awarded two silver medals by the decision of the international jury committee:
- project "Thermoelectric generating module" (authors I.G. Drozdov, A.S. Ivanov, D.P. Shmatov, K.V. Kruzhaev, A.S. Ignatov, A.G. Chuiko, A.A. Afanasiev, T.S. Timoshinova, I.G. Perevezentsev, I.E. Sviridov, P.E. Pechenkin);
- project "Method of volumetricground cementation" (authors S.N. Zolotukhin, A.A. Abramenko, O.B. Kukina, A.Yu. Vyazov, A.S. Lobosok).
10 regions of the country including the Voronezh region were awarded prizes for active work on the development of invention and innovation in the region in the “Regional Cup” category.
