On 24 December during an academic council of VSTU the university signed an agreement to establish a specialized department in cooperation with Angels IT Group. The document was signed by the rector of VSTU Sergei Kolodiazhnyi and the director general of the company Roman Popov. New specialized department will facilitate the interaction between the Flagship University and its strategic partner in educational, academic and innovation fields.
“The decision was reached on the basis of long-term partnership with Angel IT Group. There are contractual agreements and mutually beneficial cooperation between our organizations today. We are endeavoring to improve skills of our students and create a strong employment system for our graduates,” noted Sergei Kolodiazhnyi.
The agreement covers implementation of coordinated and supplementary targeted trainings of specialists for research and development companies and enterprises in Project Management, IT and Construction Design, joint internship programs for students as well as involvement of highly-qualified company employees in the educational process.
Trainings of students will take place at academic and laboratory facilities of the university and specialized rooms provided by the company.
The director general of Angel IT Group, Roman Popov noted, that this cooperation will help to establish a labour pool for new projects as graduates of the university are highly demanded by the company. He also expressed confidence, that they’ll be able to strengthen the quality of the education and find new ways to improve performance of the company in Project Management.
